Creating and Managing Events

To manage events, enter the settings area. Once all events have been created/modified/delete, be sure to click Save All at the top of the page.

 

Create Event

To create a new event, click New in the Check-in Events area of the settings page. A new item will be created in the dropdown and the fields for that event will be pre-loaded with the following:

  • Name will default to: New Event Name
  • Infusionsoft Application will default to the application you authorized with Intrakr Check-in. You may change this if you wish.

Enter the Infusionsoft goal name to call when a contact is checked into this event.

 

Modify Event

To modify an existing event, locate that event in the events drop down. Once selected, that event's properties will be loaded into the text fields below the drop down. Edit the fields you wish and click Save All at the top of the page once complete.

 

Delete Event

To delete an existing event, locate that event in the events drop down. Once selected, click the Delete button above the drop down. This will remove the event completely. When finished, click Save All at the top to save your changes.

 

Lock Event

There may be an occasion when you need to restrict the event you allow people to check into, such as at a seminar where there should only be one option. Do do this, locate the event in the events drop down that you want to lock into. Once selected, check the Lock Event on Check-in Screen box below the text fields. Click Save All at the top of the page.

If you return back to the check-in screen, you'll see that you can no longer select the event that is checked into. To un-lock events, return to the settings page, locate the event, un-check the box, and click Save All at the top of the page.
