Checking in Infusionsoft Contacts

Once events are created with Infusionsoft goals associated to them, you can check in your contact from the main application page.

Before checking in a contact with one of the methods below, choose the event you'd like to check them into from the drop down box.

 

Scan Barcode

If the contact's lookup data (either contact ID or custom field value, as defined in the settings) is stored in a barcode, simply scan the barcode with the application open and active. We recommend the Socket Mobile 7Ci Bluetooth barcode scanner, which will scan all standard 1D barcodes (not QR codes). If the contact is found, their name and the event they checked into will be displayed on the page for a few seconds.

 

Manually Enter

If you know the contact's lookup information (either contact ID or custom field value, as defined in the settings), you can enter it in the text box on the screen and click Check In. If the contact is found, their name and the event they checked into will be displayed on the page for a few seconds.

 

Look up by Email

To look up a contact by email, simply enter their full email address in the text box and click Check In. Any matches returned will be displayed in a dialog box. Locate the correct contact and click Choose next to their name to check them into the event.

 

Look up by Last Name

To look up a contact by last name, simply enter any part of their last name in the text box and click Check In. Any matches returned will be displayed in a dialog box. Locate the correct contact and click Choose next to their name to check them into the event.
